What we’ve heard from you
Thank you for the opportunity you have given me in finding a regional employer to fit my 491 Visa requirements. I couldn’t believe how quick and committed you were to my needs. I had sent many resumes off and received no contact back. With your recommendation and assistance of updating my resume, and then me following your process, I am in a solid position with an excellent Head Chef. Lots of gratitude for your assistance.
Thank you to the team at Chef skills Victoria. I came to you for help to complete my Vocational placement required for my Certificate III in Commercial Cookery. You managed to organise an establishment which not only taught me so much, but I have now been offered a Commis Chef position moving forward. Your service and support have meant so much and I will be definitely recommending you to my friends.

Chef Skills Victoria is not just a job-finding agency; it's the best pathway to permanent residency for any hospitality student. When I contacted CSV after finishing trade school, they laid the whole foundation towards my PR and my career as a chef. CSV will not just find you a job; they also keep in touch with you to check your progress in your career, they even liaise with owners/chefs to make sure each candidate is offered the best position available in the kitchen based on ones experience. I highly recommend any hospitality students get in touch with CSV who wants to get PR in Australia.

Student Success Stories
Brunswick, VictoriaNam we refer to as our Vietnamese super star. We had the fortune of seeing Nam complete his Diploma of Hospitality. He then came directly to us to engage our support and services for his Job Ready Program. We discussed his pathway and timeline and got to action. Nam was successful in his trial at Rice Paper Scissors, Brunswick, as a Commis Chef and commenced his program. 2 years later and with our continued support, he has not only gained his successful skills assessment outcome, but has also had 2 promotions and now holds the position of Sous Chef at Rice Paper Scissors. This is a proper success story in our eyes, well done Nam!!
When we met Aman she already had some kitchen experience and was ready to apply for her TR Visa. She came to get guidance from us in the process of starting her Job Ready Program and to get the opportunity in a position at Commis Chef level. Together we worked to secure a chef role at Le Bon Ton, Collingwood. We then registered her with TRA and followed her through her process, including adding TGI Fridays, Ringwood, as another employer to gain further hours and experience. She successfully completed her Workplace assessment and has now received her successful final outcome. Time for Aman to hit the next stage of her pathway to PR and gain employment with her Regional Visa requirements. We will happily give continued support to her until she reaches her goal.
Gisborne, Regional Victoria
Jatin connected with us early in his Commercial Cookery training course. His direct request was to have an opportunity at gaining real skills and time in a quality kitchen environment. We got right to work and made this happen. He was placed into Baringo Food and Wine Co, Gisborne, where under Head Chef Tim Austin, he completed his required Work Based Training Program and then was offered a permanent cook position within the team. Jatin is now kicking goals on his way to complete his Cert IV in Commercial Cookery. We look forward to continuing his pathway to success.
